Why is it so hard to get rid of someone from your life who’s nuts?

It’s usually because he (or she) is only nuts to most of us.

If he or she is still around, it’s probably because they are rabidly supporting someone else’s goals.

Just not yours.

There are very few truths out there. Just words–turned into stories–that approximate reality in our heads. So the obnoxious loudmouth who sits next to you might be considered a great leader to your boss, friends, or parents.

My recommendation: Don’t work on the nut. Tell a more attractive story to those who don’t see things the way you do. Show a different map of the landscape–one that shows a more beautiful territory managed successfully with a different approach.
