Agile User Experience. I give creative teams time to create and the tools to deliver.

For some reason, the creative process got left behind in Agile development. In the rush to develop quickly and cut back on documentation, the need to sit back and be creative is often lost. This one-day class is focused on techniques to bring creative ideas, ideas driven by customer needs, back into the development process. In case study-driven exercises, we will walk through an Inception Phase, a Story Mapping Phase, and practice several techniques of integrating the user interaction model into the sprint cadence.

What You Will Learn

Inception

The Inception process starts before the sprint cadence begins. You will learn how to efficiently story map, concept, and prepare for your first sprints with plenty of time for ‘blue sky’ thinking.

Collaborative Design

You will learn how and when to bring in user experience maps, concept maps, wireframes, and copy docs to your partners and customers.

User Testing Cadence

Once assets begin to drop into the sprint process, you will learn how to integrate user feedback into the grooming process.
